The Atlantis Pyramid.

Atlantis Publishing in conjunction with Atlantis Pyramid is pleased to announce the construction of a new pyramid. We believe that this era in time - amongst other things the beginning of a new millennium - deserves to be marked in a special way. We felt this could have no better manifestation than a monument that would survive for countless thousands of years. Hence the Atlantis Pyramid.

Concentric circles.

The Atlantis Pyramid will constructed on a scale similar to the largest of the ancient Egyptian pyramids.

Although the final location for the pyramid has yet to be decided its layout will conform to Plato’s idea of the centre of Atlantis ( see right ) situated around a series of concentric circles alternating between land and water.

Variety of Purposes.

We believe the Atlantis Pyramid will serve a variety of important purposes. It will not only act as a crucial time marker to this point in history but become a vital focus for this present age. This was never more necessary.

A rise in tensions across the world highlight the need for a uniting gesture. This is why we intend the Atlantis Pyramid to be a neutral emblem to a united world ideal.

Charitable Icon.

There is no doubt that building the Atlantis Pyramid will cost a great deal of time and money. Some have naturally questioned whether this money might not be better spent on the poor and needy. This is a valid point. The reality however is that the Atlantis Pyramid was always intended as an iconic focus for charitable aid. In fact we believe that the Atlantis Pyramid will release and inspire an out pouring of charitable aid and development unparalleled in any other age. As such we believe the goals of the Atlantis Pyramid are entirely ethical and fully in keeping with our principal aim - that is to enhance and enrich human potential in every corner of this wonderful planet.

Centre for Cultural and Sporting Activity.

The Atlantis Pyramid is also intended to function as a major world centre for cultural and sporting activity. We intend its associated venues to host major world sporting events in the context of a neutral setting that will be geared to the pursuit of excellence. The idea of the Atlantis Pyramid is also one that is inescapably linked to the quest for higher knowledge and wisdom. Central to this theme will be the provision for extended cultural and scientific research exploring areas of science that have hitherto been poorly covered.

Neutral Emblem.

As an iconic emblem the idea of the Atlantis Pyramid has many different functions. One of these is that it should be situated on purposely declared neutral territory. In this way the Atlantis Pyramid can be viewed free of any particular national bias. As part of its greater function Atlantis Pyramid will also encourage the development of similar neutral zones within every country on Earth.

We believe that as nations play host to individual embassies, they should also set aside neutral territory capped by a miniature pyramid dedicated to the ideal of humanity and a truly united planet.

Agent for a better future.

To further these goals and turn them into firm reality it is our aim to approach the governments of every nation on Earth. We believe that in so doing Atlantis Pyramid can become a forceful agent for a better future. A future at one with the vision of a more peaceful and prosperous planet.
