Alignment 2000 - Worse than predicted.
Earlier last year (2000) we warned the press of the world and a good few scientists to expect a turbulent year ahead. Disturbed weather patterns, an increase in earthquakes together
with social and political upheaval seemed like an obvious prediction. Obvious, because the spring and early summer saw one of the biggest planetary alignments for thousands of years.
