Is it too late?
Are we about to be made extinct?
Just consider the following facts and see for yourselves the terrible predicament we are in.
Many threats.
The sun has suddenly become more powerful. The ozone hole is larger than ever and across the world poor air quality already claims millions of lives each year. In addition to this a
quarter of all animal species will be extinct within a very short while, and by the year 2025 nearly 70% of the worlds population will be without an adequate water supply!
Staggering danger.
As if this wasn’t enough the north polar icecap is melting at a staggering rate. For instance The potential rise in sea level worldwide from the melting of the Greenland ice sheet and
the world's valley glaciers is 7 meters, more than enough to spell disaster for low-lying areas. From this we can expect widespread flooding as fast rising sea levels redraw the map of the world. It is conceivable
that some low lying countries will just cease to exist. Then there is the danger of killer viruses. These are displaying signs of mutating across national boundaries in a staggering outbreak of plague for which
there will be no cure.
Other long term hazards include asteroids, nuclear holocaust and the risk of biological Armageddon, as we toy with the makeup of the genetic code.
Bleak Future.
The truth is that as a race our future looks extremely bleak. At least a dozen hazards now compete to bring about our demise, and the certain truth is that before long one or more of
these will succeed.
Divine Intervention.
Remember we only tell it like it is. Even the renowned scientist and author Stephen Hawking now feels that the battle for this planet will soon be lost. Where we disagree with him is in
the timescale involved. He feels we can perhaps last out another thousand years. On the other hand we are convinced that only Divine intervention will guarantee our survival beyond the next fifty to sixty years!
You may prefer a more cheerful message but that would be lying, and whatever else you may feel about us you are at least entitled to the truth, however unpalatable you may find it.
